When I was roadtripping around England with my Mum, we stopped in Winchester for a number of reasons. One of them was to glimpse the famed Round Table of the Arthurian Legends, but as luck would have it, The Great Hall was closed the day we passed through. Good job, life. Anyway, if the words “arthurian legends” or “round table” mean nothing to you, The Conversation has enlisted Arthurian scholar Amy Brown to talk us through the basics of the stories.
